☀️ After di Storm, di Roots Still Strong
When Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, she never ask who could afford to rebuild — she just mash up everything in her path.
Families who live off di land watched their board houses fold like paper and ran through wind and rain to save their children and pets.
Today those same families are trying fi start again from nothing — clearing debris, patching roofs, and replanting what little dem can.
Through Jah Livity Foundation’s Roots Rebuild Fund, every donation go straight into their hands — buying wood, zinc, nails, and seedlings so a home can stand and a field can grow again.
This is how wi build back Jamaica — not wid big talk, but wid One Love in action.
💚 Help put back di roof and di roots.

About Us
Jah Livity began long before Hurricane Melissa.
We started as a small community-driven movement in Negril, working wid local Rasta farmers, sharing Jamaican culture, and supporting the people who keep di island’s spirit alive. Our mission was simple: uplift di small man, honor Rastafari principles, and build something positive through transparency, unity, and livity.
When Hurricane Melissa hit Westmoreland and Hanover, everything change.
Many of the same farmers and families we work wid lose greenhouses, drying rooms, tools, livestock, food, roofing, and their sense of stability. Entire communities were left without support, and the people who already had the least were hit di hardest.
Jah Livity Foundation was created as a direct response.
We use the same delivery routes and community relationships we built over years to move supplies, identify real needs, and help families in places where larger organizations do not reach. Our focus is practical, honest, and hands-on: fixing roofs, replacing tools, supporting farmers, and helping people rebuild their lives with dignity.
Today, Jah Livity is two branches of the same tree:
🌿 JahLivity.com — sacramental ganja, cultural education, and support for small Rasta farmers
💚 JahLivity.org — community relief, rebuilding efforts, and long-term support after Hurricane Melissa
Together, we work to lift up the people who keep Jamaica strong — one farm, one home, one community at a time.
🎥 See It for Yourself — After di Storm Come Livity
When wi tell people di storm mash up di hills, dem cyan always picture it.
This short clip show what our farmers and families face after Hurricane Melissa — homes torn down, fields washed away, and still, laughter and strength shining through di mud.
It’s not easy fi watch, but it’s di truth.
And from that truth, wi build hope. 💚
